Bonfire and Fireworks Display

An estimated crowd of over 1500 people watched the spectacular Pentland Community Centre Firework Display on the dry but cold evening of Saturday 5th November.

Tricky Ricky and the Mhairi Hogg Highland Dancers entertained over 300 people in the Centre before the display.

The St John’s Ambulance crew who were on duty enjoyed the show too as their services were not required during the evening.

A big thanks to everyone who volunteered their services to helped make the evening such a successful, safe and enjoyable experience.

Thanks also to the customers of Broadway convenience store who contributed £936.88 towards the cost of the fireworks.

Planning is already underway for next year’s

event which will take place on Monday 5th November 2012
